How to See Recent Followers on Instagram
View the Instagram Profiles of the People Someone Is Currently Following:If you’ve used Instagram for any length of time at all, you’ll know that the app sorts a user’s list of followers by when they joined Instagram, from most recent to oldest.
Those who have started following your account more recently will be shown at the top of the list, while longer-standing followers will be shown lower down the page.
The platform has altered the default settings for how one’s list of followers is presented. By June of 2021, Instagram will no longer display a user’s chronological list of followers.
Presently, the list of followers shown on your Instagram account is probably very different from the list shown on another Instagram account. The order in which the followers are mentioned may be completely different if you check the same list on a different phone. Instagram is initially set up like that.
To put it another way, “how to see Instagram followers in order?” or “how to see who recently followed who?”
The following methods will allow you to view your most recent Instagram followers even after the new update has been implemented.
The steps to view a user’s recent Instagram followers are detailed at the end of this post. Almost everything you might need to know about monitoring an Instagram account has been covered here.

How to See Recent Followers on Instagram
Visit their Instagram page to see how many new followers they’ve gained recently. If you tap on the list of followers, you’ll see the people that user has followed most recently on Instagram, with the most recent names appearing first. Be wary, though, because newer followers aren’t always added until the end of the list.
Note:If you use the Instagram app to see who someone is following, you might not always get the most recent list of followers. However, a large number of people have successfully used the browser version to obtain the list of followers in the desired pattern.
If this doesn’t work, try looking at who’s been following you recently in your browser’s feed.
Specifically, you can do so by
- It’s time to get on Instagram, so fire up your web browser and sign in.
- You can view a user’s profile by entering their username into the search bar.
- Next to the “Following” button, select “Followers.”
- The most recent followers will be shown first.
Chances are, you will see the list sorted by when they joined, with the most recent additions to the list appearing first. If the default list of followers still appears to be listed arbitrarily, you should proceed to the next method.

You don’t have to enter your Instagram credentials or download anything to use the tool because it operates in your browser.
After selecting a user to follow, the app will compile information about their most recent and total followers into a “New Follows” list. Naturally, Snoopreport does not provide you with these features for free. For access to the necessary information, you will need to select a suitable paid plan. At $4.99/month, the plan is fairly inexpensive, but it limits you to keeping tabs on just two friends. For an idea of the report’s format, you can view a sample copy online.
